Overview

Who Pays? is a local-first app for groups of friends to decide who pays a shared bill. The app does not require an account, login, or profile.

This policy explains what information is stored by the app, how ads and app measurement work, and how to contact us.

Information stored on your device

The app may store the following information locally on your device:

• Participant names entered for a round.
• Saved friend groups.
• Draw history, including selected payer names and date.
• Custom challenges created by the user.
• Language and app settings.

This information is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a backend account system for this app and we do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and app measurement

Who Pays? uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google and its partners may collect or receive information from your device to provide ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with their policies.

The app also uses Meta App Events to measure app activity and support advertising campaigns. Events are sent as aggregated activity signals, such as a draw being completed, a saved group being loaded, or an optional rewarded feature being unlocked. We do not send participant names, saved group names, custom challenge text, or bill notes to Meta.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information processed by Google AdMob and Meta App Events is handled according to their own advertising, measurement, and privacy policies.

Children

Who Pays? is not directed to children under 13. The app is intended for general social use by people deciding shared expenses in groups.

Deleting local data

You can delete saved draw history and saved groups from inside the app. You can also remove the app from your device to delete its local app data.
